Need help with .Net Obfuscator and Code Protectors

Hello,

I have just registered and this my first post, so please ignore if I am being silly or posting in wrong section.

I am needing to buy code obfuscator for the project I am working on (.Net 2.0, C# cli, winform and windows services apps) can not decide which one to go for; as I do not have any knowledge of how they work.

I have been playing around with evaluation copy of following:
CliSecure
DeployLX CodeVeil 3.x
Dotfuscator Pro
PostBuild .Net Obfuscator Xenocode

Can any one please help me which one of these or other could provide better protection against reverse engineering and breaking the code, as my application has reference to lots of dlls, hard-coded string (unavoidable).
