Reverse Engineering UseNeXT

Hi,

First let me say, I have very little experience of actual cracking, so please take it easy on me.
I have a working installation of UseNeXT on one machine, however the Trial Period has expired, but some functionality still works (search).

I'm happy with this functionality, or more, but want it on another machine, but can't install it as the trial has expired. I will not get another trial as their order page isn't secure.

So, my plan is to reverse engineer it to work with any server and take any username/password which user inputs.

Can anyone help me with this task? I know it's coded in .NET 1.1, and have opened it in PEBrowse Professional Interactive, but not sure what to do with it.
